CUSTOMIZE YOUR VARIABLE DATA PRINTING
BY ADDING SYSTEM FONTS
With Wasatch SoftRIP's Variable Data Printing Option (VDP), you can customize variable data fields with fonts, barcodes, QR codes, Data Matrix codes, and a variety of sizing, color, and effect features.
But what if you can't find the font you're looking for in the Wasatch Font or System Font menu? No worries! In a few simple steps, you can add a multitude of new fonts to your font library, expanding your selection and design possibilities!
To begin, download a font (or a bunch!) from one of the free font sites on the Internet.* Below are a few of the sites we found:
Once you've unzipped the file, right-click or double-click the font file (the .ttf/.otf file) and select the "Install" option.**
After you've installed the font, open SoftRIP's VDP, create a new bounding box, and select the font by name from the System Font menu.
Once you've added a record, select the "Preview the Selected Record" option to see what your newly-added font looks like.
That's all there is to it! In just a few minutes, and a few easy steps, you can increase your font library, expand your design options, and customize the look of any project.
