Mutoh America Wins Key Category at DIMA Printer Shoot-Out with Wasatch SoftRIP®

Las Vegas, NV, February 15, 2004, April 12, 2004 — For the second straight year, Wasatch has helped its printer partners to achieve victory at the 2004 DIMA Digital Printer Shootout at last week's PMA Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Using Wasatch SoftRIP 5.0 to drive its Falcon II Outdoor Printer, Mutoh America Inc. took top honors in the 50" to 72" inkjet solvent or UV cured category.

The winning image was created with the Falcon II Outdoor driven by Wasatch SoftRIP Version 5.0 with Mutoh Eco-Solvent Plus ink and Intelicoat GFPhoto media. SoftRIP's industry leading color management and workflow features give users the power to achieve superior results with the Falcon II Outdoor.

"This has been a big year for solvent printers and competition is fierce," says Jay Griffin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Wasatch Computer Technology. "We are pleased that Wasatch SoftRIP could help Mutoh win in this critical category."

As the first RIP to include ICC color management capabilities, Wasatch SoftRIP has been achieving superior color for nearly a decade. Its recent innovations in inkjet color control include the Color Transforms Master Screen-an interactive flowchart that shows exactly how color is processed from file to printed page. Color Transforms makes the intricacies of sophisticated color management seem simple, and is included with every copy of Wasatch SoftRIP 5.0.
