Print Mode Options:

Pressing the Properties button next to the Printer Model window on the Imaging Configurations screen will launch the control panel for this printer.

• Print Mode: Select the resolution for printing.
• Inkset: Choose the correct inkset that is loaded in the printer.
• Dot Type: Displays the currently selected dot type.

Auto-Generation:

The controls for the White and Varnish modes will become active when an appropriate inkset has been selected on the Print Mode tab.

• No Auto-Generation: Use this setting when no auto-generation is required. Spot color replacement can be used with the white/varnish channels.
• Auto-Generate inks from traced areas: Prints the unmanaged channel(s) to areas previously traced, using the 'Trace' tab.
• Auto-Generate the entire page: Prints the unmanaged channel(s) across the entire file.
• Auto-Generate where other inks are used: Prints the unmanaged channel(s) where other inks are being printed.
• Choke: The outside edge of the unmanaged channel(s) will be smaller than the original image.
• Spread: The outside edge of the unmanaged channel(s) will be larger than the original image.
• Ink Density: Allows the density of the unmanaged channel(s) to be adjusted from 10% - 100%.
