To assure correct printing behavior we recommend to make changes to the following settings only:
Main
- Media Type: Please select an appropriate setting for the media loaded in the printer. For best print quality, please select a Media Type that allows the Print Quality setting to be set to Max Quality.
- Color: Set to "Grayscale" for screen printing. Otherwise the default "Color" setting is recommended.
- Print Quality: We recommend setting the Print Quality to Max Quality.
- Mode: "Off (No Color Adjustment)" is the recommended setting.
- Paper Settings: Select a Source and Size that matches the media loaded into the printer.
NOTE: The Media Type control can have a significant effect on the amount of ink printed and dot distribution. When profiling we recommend to test a few settings to find which works best for your media.
Page Layout / Utility
NOTE: On the Page Layout and Utility tabs it is recommended to not use any of these controls. By default "Optimize Enlargement" is enabled. We recommend to disable this control. For layout controls it is recommended to use those available in SoftRIP.
