Clear Queues for Performance
Wasatch RIP and Print Queues are a powerful tool for RIP'ing once and then printing many times. In situations where RIP'ing takes a lot of time, they can help speed up production.
In other situations, particularly where the RIP is much faster than the printer, they may just be a nuisance. They can fill up over time, use up disk space, and degrade system performance.
They can be cleared with a single click, Ctrl-A to select all, and Delete, but this may be hard to remember to do in a busy production environment.
The solution is simple. It is easy to configure SoftRIP to clear the queues automatically, clearing them on every launch so that you don't have to think about them at all.
