Robust Features
In order to produce their large and grand format tradeshow graphics, Featherlite uses Wasatch SoftRIP, a Roland SOLJET Pro II SJ-1000, and a Dilli Neo Titan UV-1606. With SoftRIP, Featherlite can manage their various production processes, which include UV direct printing onto roll stock, printing onto rigid sheet goods, and producing dye sublimated textile graphics.

Maximizing Savings
To make the most efficient use of their time and avoid wasting expensive consumables, Featherlite uses SoftRIP's Smart Nesting feature to automatically create efficient layouts that maximize both time and money savings. With the ability to combine RIP'd files with new jobs and even rotate pre-RIP'd images to conserve media, SoftRIP's Smart Nesting feature allows Featherlite to customize a workflow tailored to their specific production process.
With SoftRIP's integrated file browser, Featherlite can quickly drag and drop their images into the Layout window and prepare them to print as a part of their overall print run, making their workflow more efficient and intuitive. The Layout window uses the full width of the media as a digital canvas and becomes a single workplace where Featherlite can easily position and manipulate all the images in their print job.
Improving Workflow
Featherlite also takes advantage of SoftRIP's flexible workflow features to get their jobs ready for print. Featherlite can resize their images directly in SoftRIP and see their changes instantly in the live preview display. They also use SoftRIP's true cropping feature that lets them RIP only selected areas, instead of the entire page, speeding up processing.
